A HUGE Thank You to our sponsors, vendors, chili cooks, supporting agencies, Car Show participants, volunteers and visitors who all helped to make this possible.

The Havelock Chili Festival Committee, a small group of dedicated volunteers, pledges to continue honoring its legacy by producing memorable family-friendly community events that support local non-profit organizations through grants and scholarships. We were able to award over $20,000 each of the past 3 years for a total of over $63,000.

Havelock is a small town that is proud of its partnership with Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, the largest Marine Air Station in the world. In 1981, the Commanding General of MCAS Cherry Point suggested the creation of a festival that would provide his Marines, Sailors and their families with an opportunity to connect with the Havelock community. Based on his vision,
Havelock's Chili Cook-off concept was born. We will be celebrating out 44th Festival in 2026.
Past Havelock Chili Cook-offs have included competitors from all over the great state of North Carolina and visitors from Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, New Jersey, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.
We are eager to once again offer an exciting opportunity for chili cooks and vendors across Eastern North Carolina and far and wide to participate in this annual fun event with something for everyone.
For press or vendor inquiries about the Havelock Chili Festival, please send us a message.
Thank you for your interest! We will get back to you as soon as we can.
