We're SEEKING EVENT SPONSORS

We are seeking Community partners to help us execute another successful Havelock Chili Festival, Havelock’s largest annual community event. Last year we were thrilled to distribute $21,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations, middle- and high-school clubs and athletic teams, and 7 scholarships to Havelock high-school seniors.

We are in our 42nd year and are working to make the festival bigger and better than ever! This year’s Chili Festival will be back to our traditional 3rd weekend in October, being held on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Havelock Rotary, we are bringing back the much-requested Wings Competition this year!

We know that Businesses like yours are eager to give back to our local community and we greatly appreciate any support you can provide. Our partnership with our business and community partners afforded us the opportunity to annually award academic scholarships to Havelock seniors, as well as over $69,000 to local nonprofit organizations here in Havelock in the past 7 years. We were also able to give nonprofit organizations the opportunity to participate in the Festival to sell products for fundraising, promote programs, raise awareness, etc. Thousands of residents of the surrounding area and personnel from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point were in attendance at our 2023 event, which was covered by the New Bern Sun Journal and local television stations. We are looking forward to making this year’s festival an even greater success.
